Sound Blaster has launched the G8 sound card, designed to connect various devices such as gaming consoles, mobile devices, and PCs through a USB-C port. This innovative product offers sound playback with a resolution of up to 32-bit/384 kHz and includes support for Dolby Digital decoding.
The G8 features a two-channel Xamp amplifier with a low impedance of just 1 Ohm, allowing for independent amplification of the left and right headphone channels.

It is compatible with headphones ranging from 8 Ohm to 600 Ohm and delivers an impressive dynamic range of 130 dB, along with a total harmonic distortion plus noise rating of 0.00018%.
A notable aspect of this device is its dual USB interfaces, enabling sound mixing from two different signal sources.
Sales are expected to commence in November 2024, with a retail price set at $200.
