This beautifully crafted Hattor Audio passive/active preamp features two high-precision Takman REX AMRT carbon film resistor attenuators , delivering very low distortion for clean, transparent sound reproduction. It offers the latest advancements in high-end preamp technology.

As both a passive preamp and an input selector with extensive connectivity – two RCA inputs and three XLRs, plus two RCA outputs and two XLRs – this impeccably finished, hand-built unit is a great addition to any ambitious hi-fi setup.

This model also integrates an active buffer on two OPA2134s, equipped with a separate amplification section. This active stage can be activated or not activated using the included remote control and offers three gain levels: +3dB, +6dB and +9dB.

Gold-plated CMC and Neutrik 24k PTFE connectors and silver wire cables allow the Hattor Audio preamp to compete with the best high-end products on the market. The attenuation stage here features custom-tested Takman REX AMRT 64-position ultra-low distortion resistors with solid gold traces and constant impedance inputs.

Each passive mono attenuator is equipped with an insulated aluminum shield to ensure optimal channel separation with very low crosstalk. Correction purists as well as experimenters will appreciate the two switchable potentiometers, allowing you to control the left or right channel separately – or, conversely, combine them with individual levels for each channel.
