The top-of-the-line Rega Osiris integrated stereo amplifier embodies over 30 years of Rega engineering expertise. It delivers 162 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 250 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Its dual-mono design is housed in a signature aluminum enclosure. The Osiris features two low-noise 400 VA toroidal transformers and balanced inputs. Eight Sanken transistors and Nichicon polyester capacitors deliver stunning, natural sound with superb resolution.

The 25-kilogram Rega Osiris amplifier's enclosure is crafted from anodized aluminum and CNC-machined. Its side panels conceal two cooling heatsinks. The front panel's composite design is formed by the edges of the top cover and base, as well as inserts, between which is a polished panel with a two-line display, two triangular input selector buttons, and a stylish volume knob. The power switch, shaped like an oblong button, is mounted at the joint on the left side. When pressed, an LED with the company logo, located at the bottom of the front panel, lights up. A universal aluminum remote control is included.

The symmetrical circuit topology follows the dual-mono principle. Nichicon audiophile-grade polyester capacitors are used. A differential input stage (cascade amplifier) is employed. The output section utilizes eight Sanken transistors. The power supply includes two 400 VA toroidal transformers. They are mounted to the chassis in a special way, significantly reducing vibration and noise transmitted to the case. The transformers are combined with Rega K-Power capacitors, with a total capacitance of 40,000 μF per channel. This potential allows the Osiris to handle demanding speakers and deliver 162 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Fast-response rectifier diodes are used. The audio signal paths receive a separate power supply, significantly reducing distortion. The input selector, display, microcontroller for the input relays and the amplifier protection circuits against overheating, short circuits and overloads are also powered separately.

There's one balanced XLR and four RCA line-level inputs. A loopback is included for recording and monitoring. A fixed Direct Input provides direct access to the amplifier's power stage and is useful, for example, when using the Osiris as a power amplifier for the front speakers of a theater system.

The Rega Osiris's signature sound gravitates toward the sound of vacuum tube amplifiers and reflects the company's philosophy. Its sound is carefully crafted and boasts density, depth, and precise tonal balance. The device impresses with its musicality and naturalness. The model is an ideal match for the Rega Isis CD player.
