At the international audio exhibition, which will be held at the Grand Hotel in Taipei from December 14 to 17, the Italian brand Synthesis will present a new single-ended tube integrated amplifier Synthesis FCO -300 B , made in the dual mono concept. The output stages of the new product are implemented on the famous 300 B direct-heated triodes and operate in pure class A.
Luigi Lorenzon of Synthesis notes: “We designed and built this amplifier for high-sensitivity acoustics, aiming for accurate and impressive reproduction of all genres of music. With the Synthesis FCO -300 B we were able to achieve the musicality we were looking for: dynamics, control and high power output . “
The pre-stages of the Synthesis FCO-300B amplifier are implemented using 12AU7 and 12AX7 dual triodes. A 6CG7 double triode operates as a driver tube, and a 5U4G kenotron is used in the power supply. The amplifier's output stages are implemented using 300B direct-heat triodes from Electro-Harmonix.
The power supply for the Synthesis FCO-300B amplifier is based on a high-power toroidal transformer. Output transformers are double C-core and have separate terminals for connecting 4 and 8 ohm speaker systems. The amplifier has an automatic Bias adjustment system.
The Synthesis FCO-300B tube amplifier is housed in a durable metal body in dark gray with a silver anodized aluminum front panel. The amplifier comes with a remote control that allows you not only to adjust the volume level and select the active input, but also to activate the Mute mode and control the power.
The recommended retail price for the Synthesis FCO -300 B amplifier in Europe is €19,700 . In other countries, the new product will be offered for $21,400 .
