FiiO emphasized versatility. The EH13 can work with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, which is convenient when switching between a smartphone, laptop, or tablet without constantly reconnecting. If necessary, the headphones can also be used via a 3.5mm cable, for example, with a laptop, on a plane, or when the battery is low. The manufacturer also claims DSP tuning, which is intended to maintain a consistent sound character in both wireless and wired modes.

The design is centered on a 40mm dynamic driver. Its composite diaphragm features a sapphire-coated dome and a PEEK+PU suspension. At the same time, the model focuses not only on detail but also on maintaining a full-fledged low-frequency foundation, which is important both for music and for the proper functioning of the noise-cancelling system.

To reduce external noise, the FiiO EH13 uses a hybrid ANC system with a suppression depth of up to -42 dB. Three noise-canceling levels are available to adapt the headphones to different environments, whether it's transportation, an office, or the street. DSP compensation is also claimed to reduce changes in sound when ANC is turned on and off, preventing noticeable differences in the sound quality between modes.

For wireless transmission, the headphones support the LDAC codec, as well as Hi-res Audio and Hi-res Audio Wireless certifications. Furthermore, the headphones support the standard SBC codec.

For calls and voice communications, the design features five built-in microphones. ENC processing also helps emphasize voices and reduce the impact of ambient noise during conversations. The FiiO Control App lets you adjust the equalizer settings, use ready-made presets, and create your own sound options. Separate profiles for movies and games are also available, expanding the model's usability.

With up to 75 hours of battery life and multipoint Bluetooth, the FiiO EH13 is built for seamless everyday use across devices.

Another important feature is battery life. The manufacturer claims up to 75 hours of battery life without ANC and up to 45 hours with noise cancellation enabled. A full charge takes about two hours. The foldable case with rotating earcups makes the headphones easy to carry in a backpack, bag, or carry-on. The model is available in black and beige.
