Audio Group Denmark has expanded its digital audio portfolio with the launch of the Axxess Switch, a high-performance network switch designed specifically for music streaming systems. Developed under the Axxess brand, the product is the result of close collaboration between Danish audio designers Michael Børresen and Flemming Erik Rasmussen.
Rather than treating networking as a generic IT function, Audio Group Denmark positions the Axxess Switch as a core audio component—one that plays a direct role in sound quality. According to the company, the switch is engineered to improve stability, reduce network-related noise, and preserve the integrity of digital audio signals before they reach the DAC.

Built for Signal Purity and Musical Flow
The Axxess Switch is designed around what the company calls its Axxess technology foundations, a set of proprietary principles focused on power supply design, noise control, and mechanical construction. Together, these elements aim to minimize interference from routers and network infrastructure, allowing streaming systems to deliver cleaner, more coherent sound.
At the heart of the design is a Resonant Mode Power Supply, developed to reduce electrical noise and improve timing accuracy. Combined with careful internal layout and a rigid, well-damped chassis, the switch is intended to maintain data integrity and support a more natural, emotionally engaging listening experience.
The device is based on several proprietary design principles, which the company refers to as “Axxess technology foundations.” These include power supply, noise control, and housing design, all of which work together to preserve the musical flow.
