Fezz Audio Equinox

A new DAC produced by Fezz Audio, named Equinox, marked a significant milestone as the first digital-to-analog converter in the company's history. Lukasz Fikus from Lampizator contributed to its development, as noted on the device's front panel. Utilizing a Burr-Brown PCM1794 chip, the DAC incorporates analog paths featuring ECC88 and 12AU7 tubes.

The converter comes with an optical input, a coaxial input, and a USB Type-C connector. The outputs are RCA connectors. The company mentioned that the converter does not support DSD and the power supply was specifically designed for the Equinox model. Additionally, Fezz Audio opted to use a transformer from the Toroidy brand. It is interesting to mention that this particular brand eventually became the originator of Fezz Audio.
