FX -Audio has introduced the DS07 balanced DAC – a compact, high-performance device with an original appearance. FX-Audio's DS07 DAC is made from a full set of audiophile components: ES9068AS DAC chip, XMOS XU-216 USB interface, Bluetooth 5.1 QCC5125 receiver chip and at least 5 OPA1612 op-amps. Thanks to these components, the FX-Audio DAC has excellent measurement characteristics. It also features extensive connectivity options, including balanced stereo output on XLR connectors.
The DS07 features an ESS Technologies ES9068AS 32-bit stereo DAC chip. The latter is based on the HyperStream® II QUAD DAC™ architecture and allows the DS07 to support high sample rates up to PCM 32bit 768 kHz, native DSD up to DSD512 and even MQA streams.
For wireless audio transmission with high-resolution audio codecs, FX-Audio chose to integrate the Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth 5.1 receiver chip: SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX LL and LDAC.
The DS07 circuit is completed by a second-generation XMOS XU-216 USB interface with a USB-B input. It provides this DAC with a high-performance digital input.
The remote control provides enhanced user functionality. With its help, in particular, you can control the volume and equalizer, as well as select the input source of the DS07 DAC. The color LCD also displays playback information.
