The Hidizs AP80 Pro-X is a compact and powerful digital music player that boasts both a neat design and quality components. Behind the 2.45-inch IPS touch screen are two ESS ES9219C DACs, a powerful FPGA, a Bluetooth chip and a capacious battery. The AP80 Pro-X is as versatile as it is efficient in audio reproduction.
Dual High-Performance DACs
The AP80 Pro-X uses dual ESS ES9219C DACs to deliver superior dynamic range (+121dB) and extremely low distortion (SNR 130dB / THD+N -114dB). These chips also provide support for high-resolution streams up to 32-bit 384 kHz PCM and DSD256. The AP80 Pro-X also offers output levels of up to 2Vrms with an analog gain control to reduce output noise and achieve rich, accurate audio reproduction.
MQA 8X support
The new DAP from Hidizs also supports MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology, allowing you to play MQA audio files, delivering sound as close to the original recording as possible.
HBC3000 FPGA
With an integrated HBC3000 FPGA, the AP80 Pro-X supports native DSD up to DSD256. The FPGA also provides clock processing for reduced jitter and clear playback.
Connectivity and Design
Despite its compact size, the AP80 Pro-X offers dual output. There is a single-sided 3.5 mm jack output and a balanced 4.4 mm jack output. The design hasn't gone unnoticed either, with a stunning CNC-machined aluminum alloy chassis. Along the edges of the device is a particularly precise ALPS volume control.
Bidirectional Bluetooth
AP80 Pro-X supports bidirectional Bluetooth 4.2, as well as HiBy UAT, Sony LDAC and CSR aptX codecs. This ensures high quality wireless playback.
Long battery life
The DAP is equipped with an 800 mAh battery, providing comfortable battery life when used throughout the day. The AP80 Pro-X has a standby time of 40 days, 6 to 8 hours for balanced listening and 8 to 11 hours for single-sided listening.
