SMSL C200 Pro is a new compact desktop amplifier with wide connectivity options and convenient control. Despite its small size, the device is equipped with various inputs – USB, optical, coaxial and Bluetooth – as well as outputs of 6.35 mm, 4.4 mm, TRS and RCA. The kit includes a remote control, which makes it convenient to use in any workspace.
Compatibility with various platforms allows you to connect the C200 Pro to Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, Android, as well as to the PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch gaming consoles. In USB 1.1 mode, the device works without installing drivers (up to 96 kHz), and in USB 2.0 mode it supports higher sampling rates, but requires installing a driver on Windows. Switching modes requires rebooting the device.
Wireless connection is implemented via Bluetooth 5.1 based on a Qualcomm chip, with support for LDAC, aptX-HD, aptX, SBC and AAC codecs. This ensures stable signal transmission and high sound quality.
For connecting headphones, there are 6.35 mm and 4.4 mm jacks with a built-in amplifier providing up to 3 W per channel (16 ohms) and suitable for working with a wide range of headphones.
Digital-to-analog conversion is carried out using XMOS XU-316 and ESS ES9039Q2M. The supported formats are PCM 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD512, and the dynamic range reaches 130 dB with low distortion (-126 dB THD).
Gold-plated connectors reduce contact resistance and improve signal transmission quality. The interfaces are located for ease of connection.
The remote control allows you to control all functions of the device – turn on and off the power, change operating modes, adjust the volume and turn off the display.
