The T+A MP 1000 E universal player is designed to work with virtually all existing audio formats and can serve as the sole digital source in a system. Engineered using cutting-edge technology and the latest components, the device boasts an uncompromising design. The MP 1000 E is part of T+A's most affordable line of components. The T+A MP 1000 E features a durable metal enclosure with a damped chassis and a cast aluminum front panel.

The media player's CD transport, custom-made by Austrian company StreamUnlimited, plays CD-Audio, CD-R, CD-RW, and CD-Text discs with an output frequency range of 2 Hz to 20 kHz. The source features a new hardware platform with a central processor that supports network services such as TIDAL, Deezer, and Qobuz, as well as IP control. The streaming client, with its next-generation processor, is compatible with LAN, Wi-Fi, and USB interfaces. The digital switching board includes a USB-B input and five SPDIF ports—two optical and three coaxial. The built-in Bluetooth module supports aptX and supports internet radio and FM reception. Via USB, the player plays files with resolutions up to 32-bit/384 kHz (PCM) and DSD256 (12 MHz), while the upper frequency range on the line outputs can reach 100 kHz. To realise the high-quality potential of uncompressed HD files, a new wide-range preamplifier with a fully balanced architecture and XLR/RCA outputs has been developed.

The heart of the T+A MP 1000 E player, determining its sound quality, is the converter, built around four advanced 32-bit Burr Brown balanced DACs. Two digital filter modes can be selected—a useful feature when working with such diverse sources. A reclocking circuit is included to combat jitter and digital pulse instability.
The MP 1000 E player is designed in classic T+A style: silver aluminum (a black version is also available), a front panel with rounded horizontal ribs, and a large display in the center. Its bottom part serves as the end of the loading tray, and it fits so precisely that the gap is barely noticeable at first glance.

The T+A MP 1000 E player (like all E-series components) can be controlled using the included remote control, an optional radio transmitter (with the receiver module installed), IP protocol, or the proprietary E-2 Link bus. But the best option, of course, is to download the T+A Control app to your iOS or Android mobile device.
