Furthermore, the Avantera boasts an upgraded HHCT III+ tweeter that benefits from a “fully decoupled” design, achieved through its placement on a mechanically isolated mounting plate. The innovative Double Surround woofers eliminate the conventional “spider” (the component that traditionally supports the woofer from below), enhancing the capability to produce expansive low-frequency sounds that fill the room.
Technological sophistication is evident in the speaker's construction, featuring a “multi-sandwich body” that integrates a honeycomb core enveloped by layers of glass-elastomer or a blend of wood, plywood, and elastomer.
