Klipsch Flexus Core 300 Soundbar Unveiled: Flagship 5.1.2 System with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X & App Control

Klipsch has announced the Flexus Core 300 soundbar, an expansion of the Flexus Sound System developed in collaboration with sister brand Onkyo. A total of 13 drivers are packed into the 5.1.2-channel soundbar.

Klipsch Flexus Core 300

The Flexus Core Sound System is, according to the makers, a flexible and easy to install sound system. The system can be expanded immediately or later with a wireless subwoofer or with wireless speakers for the rear channels. The Flexus Core 300 is the largest soundbar of the system and is 137 centimeters wide. The Flexus Core 100 and Flexus Core 200 are less extensive and do not have drivers for Dolby Atmos on board.

Klipsch Flexus Core 300: control via the “Connect Plus” app

Klipsch offers the Connect Plus app for controlling the soundbar. The app also offers the ability to adjust audio settings, manage multiple devices and update the firmware if necessary. The new soundbar also features DTS:X decoding, allowing you to play DTS:X-encoded movies and music.

The soundbar can also be used to listen to music, via Bluetooth 5.3 or via a network. Support for Airplay, Google Cast, Spotify and Tidal Connect is built in. Music signal can also be offered via an optical connection, USB-C, HDMI 2.1 passthrough and HDMI eARC. The maximum SPL (= Sound Pressure Level) of the soundbar is 106 dB and the specified frequency response runs from 43 Hz to 20 kHz.

The soundbar comes with a remote control (incl. AAA batteries) with BLE backlight, a two-meter power cable and a 1.5-meter HDMI cable.

Klipsch Flexus Core 300: price and delivery information

The Klipsch Flexus Core 300 will be available soon in several configurations. Prices are just under 1,200 euros for the Flexus Core 300 soundbar, just under 500 euros for the Flexus Surr 200 speakers and just under 600 for the Flexus Sub 200.
