Magnat Signature 603: 3-Way Bookshelf Speakers with Dual Tweeters & 6.5″ Woofer

The Magnat Signature 603 features a three-band configuration. These speakers come with a sizable woofer that has a diameter of 6.5 inches, utilizing a paper diaphragm with an additional outer coating. This design enhances the rigidity of the diaphragm while keeping its weight relatively low, resulting in fast and energetic low frequencies. The woofer is constructed on a metal chassis that includes large ventilation holes to facilitate free airflow. Additionally, the low-frequency speaker is fitted with a substantial ferrite magnet, which boosts its sensitivity. The development of the woofer was carried out using the Klippel measuring complex.

Magnat Signature 603 has an original HF section consisting of two speakers of different sizes. The tweeter with a diameter of 1.2 inches works in the usual HF range. Its dome is equipped with a suspension of increased width for more accurate matching with the low-frequency speaker. Another emitter, 20 mm in diameter, acts as a super tweeter and works in the range of up to 50 kHz. The presence of this emitter makes the speaker's directional pattern wider, and the sound – airy and detailed. The high-frequency speakers use efficient neodymium magnets. The tweeters are loaded on small horn-shaped sound guides, increasing their efficiency.

The speakers are equipped with a crossover filter made of selected components and having a high cutoff slope of 24 dB. This makes the sound of Magnat Signature 603 more consistent across the entire frequency range. The Magnat Signature 603 bookshelf speakers are a universal model that can be used as part of a stereo system or home theater. The acoustics are made in cases of selected MDF and have a quality of construction that is rarely found in models of such an affordable price. The front panel of Magnat Signature 603 has rounded corners, which eliminates distortions caused by the dispersion of sound waves and gives the speakers an even more attractive appearance.
