The Sonos lineup has been enhanced with the introduction of the Era 100 Pro, a new built-in network speaker. This innovative device operates using PoE+, allowing it to be powered through a single Ethernet cable that also carries the audio signal. It offers versatile installation options, suitable for both wall and ceiling mounting. The Era 100 Pro is designed to be compatible with the Era 100 Pro Surface Mount, featuring the ability to rotate 360° and tilt 30°. Audio performance is delivered through a combination of two 0.63-inch silk tweeters and a woofer measuring 3.5 x 4.4 inches, which incorporates a diffuser made from carbon fiber-reinforced polypropylene.
The functionality of the system can be enhanced with the Sonso Amp amplifier, which incorporates a built-in DSP digital processor. Additionally, it offers features such as overload protection, an equalizer, and a Trueplay calibration function. As for the Era 100 Pro speakers, their pricing details have yet to be revealed, with sales anticipated to commence in 2025.
