The KEF Kube 10 MIE subwoofer stands out from its smaller counterparts in the series due to its larger size, making it well-suited for the acoustics of most urban living spaces. Its cubic design, coupled with high-quality craftsmanship and finishing, allows it to seamlessly blend into any interior decor. The closed cabinet design guarantees powerful and precise bass response. This subwoofer is an excellent choice not only for home theater setups but also for stereo systems that utilize compact or bookshelf speakers.

The subwoofer body has internal damping to dampen vibrations and eliminate sound coloration. Most of the side panels of the KEF Kube 10 MIE are covered with a black mesh and, in combination with the black lacquered top panel, this gives the device a strict and at the same time quite attractive appearance. A 10-inch low-frequency speaker is installed on the front panel of the subwoofer. It works in tandem with a class D amplifier that develops a power of 300 W.

To adjust the sound, the KEF Kube 10 MIE has a standard set of adjustments: input signal level, filter frequency adjustment, absolute phase switching. What is unusual here is the three-position switch for the built-in DSP operating modes.

It allows you to adjust the sound of the subwoofer when it is installed in a free space, in the corner of the room or near the wall so that the low frequencies sound without distortion. In practice, this function turns out to be quite useful, since in real living spaces it is not always possible to comply with all the rules for placing a subwoofer.

To connect to a signal source, the KEF Kube 10 MIE has linear and acoustic inputs. The presence of the latter also indicates that the subwoofer can be successfully used in a stereo system. By connecting the cable to the output terminals of the Hi-Fi amplifier, you can simultaneously change the volume of the entire set. The linear inputs are equipped with a system for recognizing the presence of a signal on only one of the two stereo channels to adjust the sound volume.
