ToneWinner SW-D8000: 1500 W active subwoofer

ToneWinner SW-D8000 is a powered subwoofer from Tonewinner. It is equipped with two Ø38.1 cm (15″) subwoofer drivers with low distortion, wide linear response and dynamic range. This makes it capable of producing deep, punchy bass, especially effective in a home theater system for complete immersion.

The SW-D8000 also features a powerful, high-performance 1500W Class D amplifier capable of delivering 8000W (3Ω) peak PP power to ideally accompany two large speaker systems. The speaker design with paper diaphragm, rubber surrounds, large OFC copper coil and dual magnet ensures optimal performance.

Five front-mounted vents improve bass diffusion. They can also be sealed with the included foam to create a closed system with improved transient response and distortion.

The entire device is housed in a durable MDF case, finished with oak-effect veneer. The internal structure of the housing is optimized to reduce standing waves.

On the rear panel of the SW-D8000 subwoofer there is an LCD display and four touch buttons for adjusting the subwoofer's DSP. The SW-D8000 can also be controlled remotely using a free mobile app using an intuitive graphical interface. Settings include high/low pass filter, phase inversion (0/180°), 7-band parametric EQ, trigger sensitivity adjustment, low power mode and pass-through mode. Four profiles are also available: Deep Mode, Normal Mode, Strong Mode and User Mode.

Connectors include XLR balanced input, RCA unbalanced input, RCA line input, and RCA SW output. Finally, the SW-D8000 also has a complete protection system against overload, overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating and short circuit.
