The player’s construction predominantly incorporates metal components, including a vibration-resistant aluminum platter that is spring-decoupled from the aluminum chassis, a detachable cast aluminum support platter, robust aluminum conical legs, and a 9-inch tonearm crafted from lightweight aluminum, equipped with user-friendly adjustments for clamping force and anti-skating.
The platter is driven by a quiet DC servomotor utilizing a belt drive system. The Premiera Alfa features an Audio Technica AT-95E MM cartridge, which is enhanced with an elliptical needle sharpening.
