Pro-Ject Audio Systems launched the new generation E-Line turntable, the E1.2 , in the summer of 2025. This fully handcrafted turntable comes ready to play, including a tonearm, MM cartridge, and dust cover. The manufacturer has now also launched the E1.2 Phono, a version of the E1.2 with a built-in phono amplifier, and buyers can choose from three models.

The E1.2 features a new 730-gram die-cast aluminum platter that suppresses resonance and ensures stable rotation and precise playback. The new Pick-it MM E cartridge, with its lightweight neodymium magnet and conical diamond stylus, delivers a warm, clear tone with minimal noise, according to the manufacturer.

The E1.2 is handcrafted in Europe and expertly tuned for plug-and-play performance. The tonearm features a heavy-duty gimbal design with high-quality bearings, a carbon fiber-reinforced headshell, and a strategically placed counterweight for optimal tracking, minimal vibration, and powerful, detailed sound. The robust plinth is CNC-machined from composite materials without voids, eliminating unwanted resonances.

In addition to the E1.2, Pro-Ject Audio has now also launched the E1.2 Phono. It's the exact same turntable, but with a built-in phono amplifier.

The user can select between 33 1/3 and 45 revolutions per minute with a single button. All this combined results in a turntable that delivers excellent sound quality thanks to high-quality materials, precise tuning, and craftsmanship. Thanks to its plug-and-play functionality, you can enjoy it right away, without any complicated setup.
The Pro-Ject E1.2 has a suggested retail price of €329 and is available in black, white, and walnut. A transparent dust cover is included. The Pro-Ject E1.2 Phono is available in the same colors for €359.
