The Austrian manufacturer Pro-Ject Audio Systems has launched the VC-E mini, a compact and effective record cleaning machine. According to the manufacturer, the new VC-E mini is ideally suited for the vinyl enthusiast with a not-too-large record collection. The device is technically simple and therefore affordable.
The VC-E Mini is an efficient, ultra-compact machine for cleaning vinyl records, and according to the manufacturer, it is specially designed for vinyl enthusiasts with a small record collection. Designed and manufactured in Europe, it combines an innovative design with excellent cleaning performance to keep records in optimal condition.
Unlike conventional record cleaning machines with a suction arm, the VC-E Mini introduces a vacuum system at the bottom. This new design simplifies operation, reduces mechanical complexity, and ensures effective removal of liquid from the record surface with less noise compared to the VC-E2 and VC-S3. The VC-E Mini offers a modern, space-saving solution for maintaining vinyl collections and delivers optimal cleaning performance in an elegant and compact device.
The core of the system is a brushless DC vacuum motor, which ensures powerful and reliable suction, a long service life, and efficient operation. The vacuum system thoroughly removes the cleaning fluid, leaving the plate surface dry and free of residue after cleaning.
The machine is equipped with a built-in tank for the collected cleaning fluid, ensuring clean and easy operation. The aspirated fluid is safely stored in the device and can be easily emptied if necessary.
The VC-E Mini uses the factory-proprietary eco-friendly, alcohol-free cleaning fluid “Wash it 2”, making it safe for vinyl while effectively removing dust, grease, and other contaminants. The cleaning process also helps reduce static electricity, which attracts less dust and improves playback quality.
The Pro-Ject Audio VC-E mini will be available for delivery from April.
